Is there a welcome event?
Yes. The Investor Welcome Event is held on Sunday, 13 September 2026 from 5.00pm to 6.00pm at The Langham, Gold Coast. It is an informal opportunity to meet other investors and ASA members before the main conference begins.

Are there investor workshops at the Queensland Investor Summit?
Yes. Investor workshops will be held on Tuesday, 15 September 2026 as part of the Queensland Investor Summit program. There will be two one-hour workshop blocks, from 3:00pm to 4:00pm and 4:00pm to 5:00pm. You can register here.

What workshops are included?

• The 3:00pm workshop is When to Hold, Trim or Sell: A Practical Framework for Investors, presented by Tim Carleton, Chief Investment Officer, Auscap Asset Management.
• The 4:00pm workshop is Using AI in Your Investment Research. This workshop will be offered as two concurrent sessions, allowing attendees to choose the session that best suits their experience level: AI for Investors: Getting Started, led by Dawid Naude, Chief AI Officer, Affinda / CEO & Founder, Pathfindr, or AI for Intermediate and Experienced Investors, led by Nathan Hood, Membership Officer, Australian Shareholders’ Association.

Is there a site tour after the Queensland Investor Summit?
Yes. There is an optional site tour to the Suncorp Disaster Management Centre on Wednesday, 16 September 2026. You can register here.

What time is the Suncorp Disaster Management Centre site tour?
The Suncorp site tour runs from 8:00am to 12:15pm on Wednesday, 16 September 2026. The coach departs from The Langham, Gold Coast at 8:15am and returns at approximately 12:15pm.

What will investors learn on the Suncorp site tour?
Investors will learn how Suncorp prepares for and responds to major weather events, including floods, storms and bushfires. The tour will cover disaster management, severe weather monitoring, technology, data, customer response and insurance resilience.

How much does the Suncorp site tour cost?
The Suncorp Disaster Management Centre site tour costs $89 for ASA members and $119 for non-members. Places are limited and coach transfers are included.
