Laurence Hart

CEO, Corval Avenue

Laurence is the CEO of Corval Avenue, a leading real estate fund manager with both a retail debt fund and institutional mandates. Prior to this, Laurence was the National Head of Commercial Property Finance at Macquarie Group where he founded and grew the real estate lending business to a $7bn loan book.

Laurence’s extensive 25-year career has spanned both real estate debt and equity in Australia and London. He spent almost a decade working in London for the Bank of Scotland, Lloyds and Mizuho across roles in real estate private equity, restructuring and European leverage finance. Laurence was also previously a Divisional Councillor for the Property Council of Australia’s Capital Markets Division and the Chair of the Debt Market Committee.
