Rachel Waterhouse

Chief Executive Officer

Rachel Waterhouse is Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Shareholders’ Association and has more than 25 years of business leadership experience across financial services, industry and professional associations. She has led strategy, education, advocacy, and communications to deliver stronger outcomes for organisations, their members, and their customers.

Rachel has held senior roles at Cuscal, St. George Bank, the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and the Governance Institute of Australia, reinforcing her commitment to strategic investment, strong governance, and well-functioning capital markets.

She holds a Master of Business Administration (Executive), a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance and Risk Management (Chartered Governance Professional), and a Bachelor of Business (Industrial Relations).
