Manager Investor Relations at Sandfire

Tom has nearly 15 years of experience in the Australian mining sector across a range of technical and corporate roles. He started his career as a Mining Engineer, working at multiple open pit mines across Western Australia. With a focus on short-term planning and drill and blast, Tom also gained valuable experience in the pit which enabled him to obtain his Quarry Manager’s certificate.

Tom then transitioned to corporate and has worked in private equity, corporate development and investor relations. Tom recently joined Sandfire in early 2025 as Investor Relations Manager, where he works closely with the Head of Commercial, Corporate Affairs and Company Secretary to communicate Sandfire’s financial and operational performance, strategy and growth prospects to the market. Tom also regularly engages and builds relationships with Sandfire’s investors, shareholders, and sell side analysts.

Tom has a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia.
