Improving Aged Care - How Should We Go About It?

Annette will outline recent developments in aged care arrangements, as well as potential plans and funding options for aged care.

Annette is a member of the Association of Independent Retirees’ (AIR) Committee as the President of AIR’s National Online Members Group (NOM) and AIR's representative at the National Aged Care Alliance (NACA) and at ACPSRO and have been a Vice President of ACPSRO since 2021.

Annette has a Ph.D in Physics and a Graduate Diploma in Statistics. She worked at the Australian Bureau of Statistics from 1971 to 2004, first as a computer programmer, then as a statistician. She was one of AIR’s representatives at the Senate Inquiry into the taxation of franking credits. Her current interests are quality and funding of aged care.

Cost

Members & their guests: $72.00 per person 
Non-Members: $80.00 per person

This includes a two-course meal (main & dessert) with tea/coffee and pre-dinner drinks. Drinks are available at bar prices.

Cancellation of registration
Cancellations must be received by email to [email protected]. Cancellations received up to 7 days before the event receive a refund less a $15 administration fee. Cancellations within the week will not be refunded, however a substitute delegate is welcome to attend.
