With 2020 nearly over, Emma Fisher from Airlie Funds Management will have a look at how the Australian market has responded to the positive news of a possible vaccine for COVID-19 and why now more than ever, it is still important to focus on a company’s financial strength, business quality and management quality.

Emma has over 10 years investment experience, with roles in portfolio management and investment research at Airlie Funds Management, Fidelity International and Nomura Securities. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies) from the University of Sydney.

Emma Kirk joined in 2017. Prior to Magellan, Emma worked in wealth management at ANZ Banking, focusing on advice remediation and governance programs. Before that, Emma was a member of the leadership team at Asgard Wealth Solutions and BT Financial Group where she was responsible for licensee growth initiatives and diversifying revenue streams. She commenced her career in financial services in 1995 and has held business development and advice specialist roles at AMP Financial Services.

Airlie has an active, value-based investment style that aims to deliver attractive long-term capital growth and regular income to its investors.
