SMSF investment strategy

Before starting to make investments in your SMSF you must have an investment strategy.  An investment strategy details your funds investment objectives and outlines the types of investments your fund can make.

Your SMSF investment strategy should be in writing and must:

  • be reviewed regularly
  • consider whether to hold insurance cover for members.
