What the recovering US economy means for Australia

A month ago, fears were mounting that the US economy might be heading back into a recession, but now the outlook is brighter, with positive economic data and a rebound in global shares and commodities turning sentiment around.

The rest of the world is still cutting rates, but the US Federal Reserve is poisesd to lift them. When will it happen and what will it mean?
