Market update and new investment ideas

Presentation by Peter Pontikis, RIM Securities Limited

It is now well into the tenth year of the post GFC investing world, and the markets in the developed world remain challenged as ever as the ‘new normal’ of a once-high, now easing A$, continuing record low interest rates in the developed world and equity secular bear markets here and receding markets overseas continue to crimp investor returns into a series of cyclical swings of bullish and bearish oscillations. No longer a world of buy and hold; the secular bear market continues to challenge our thinking framework, method, focus and determination.

Peter will update the members on both the markets, new thinking for Private Wealth investors around investing and the risks around it as well as traditional investment paths.
