Make your cash work harder – an introduction to corporate bonds

Presented by Elizabeth Moran - Director of Education and Research at FIIG Securities

All the world’s largest entities and even some of its smaller ones issue bonds at a wide range of risk, return, currency and term. Even if you never invest in bonds it’s important to understand them and the enormous role they play in global finance. In this session I’ll show you how they can improve returns from the defensive part of your portfolio, how to assess them and what’s available.

Elizabeth is a nationally recognised expert in the fixed income asset class and is a regular contributor to The Australian. She frequently writes for and is quoted in other press. Elizabeth has been with FIIG for nine years and for much of that time has been a corporate and bank analyst. She continues to edit FIIG’s weekly newsletter, “The WIRE”. In her role as Director of Education, Elizabeth has delivered presentations at conferences across Australia.
