The Annual Report and financial statements within provide so much data. This workshop will show you how to interpret the data in Annual Reports to help you with your investment decisions.
Annual Report extracts from two companies and case studies will be used.
You will leave this workshop with a much greater confidence in assessing a company's financial statements to help you make better investment decisions.
Mike Champion, ASA
Mike has an MBA, (Distinctions in Managerial Finance, Strategic Management, and Marketing Research & Analysis) and a BCom, (Accounting, Finance & Economics).
He has practiced as a management accountant and software consultant. His main interests lie in solving accounting and financial management problems, and in resolving datafile errors.
Since 2009, as a result of the GFC, he has been studying, investing and trading in the stock and FX markets.
Mike first joined the ASA in 2011, and recently rejoined after retiring from consulting to concentrate on trading and investing.
Shaun Jeffrey, Director - Advisory Services at Ernst & Young
Shaun has been Director - Advisory Services at Ernst & Young since January 2013. He previously held roles as Board Member & Treasurer at Greening Australia for over 3 years, and as Managing Director at BSS Consulting for 9 years.
Lunch, along with morning and afternoon teas are included.
There will be some handouts provided on the day. All delegates will be sent an online link to the speaker presentations in PDF format one week prior to the event.
There is plenty of complimentary parking available at the venue.
Refunds and cancellations
A full refund will be provided for all cancellations one week prior to the seminar. No refunds will be made within one week of the seminar. We are happy to accept a substiution within one day of the seminar.
