Become a company monitor

ASA monitors vote without fear or favour

Not all shareholders can attend an AGM, so that's something else that our company monitors do. Last year we voted around $4 billion worth of proxies.

Our company monitors cut through the double speak so shareholders can understand in plain language, what's going on in a company.  They ask pertinent questions at AGMs and report on what happened for the benefit of all our members. AGM reports are published a few days after the AGM on this website and some in our monthly magazine, EQUITY.

Our company monitors are all ASA member volunteers and participate in annual training and regular monitors' meetings - so they're right on top of contemporary issues.  They also come from all walks of life.
