Steve started Forager Funds in 2009 and has been Chief Investment Officer of the Forager Australian Shares Fund since then and the Forager International Shares Fund since its inception in early 2013. Prior to this, Steve owned and ran The Intelligent Investor, a newsletter business providing commentary on investing and stocks to a then growing army of DIY investors. Steve likes to invest in businesses many others aren't looking at or researching and always tries to find opportunity in unlikely places.
